Review meeting of the Hon. Chief Minister along with cabinet sub-committee, high level committee, Govt. officials, and TTD officials.

Agenda Points

  1. Set up Empower Committee

    1. An empower committee has been established to oversee the preparation works, cabinet sub- committee, high level committee of the World Telugu Conference.

      1. Executive Officer of TTD

      2. Collector, Chittoor

      3. Chief Engineer, TTD

      4. Superintendent Engineer (R&B), Chittoor

      5. Superintendent Engineer (APSPDCL), Tirupati

The Govt. will issue orders empowering the above committee to initiate the works

  1. Construction of the Conference Center Stage

    1. An area of 90 acres has been identified near Avilala in Rajiv Nagar for the Conference

    2. Removal of unwanted plants and leveling off the ground under the supervision of the District Collector.

    3. To build internal roads at the venue

    4. To build 4 main roads in 4 different directions

    5. Providing of basic facilities like rooms, drainage system, power supply.

    6. Main center stage, 5 other stages, 5 programme halls, publicity and information centers, handicrafts, ancient materials, books exhibition halls, food courts, rest rooms, delegates registration centers, rain proofs constructions to be taken up

    7. Electrical transformers and generators to be provided at the venue

    8. Electrical lights and other decorations to be done

    9. Security precautions to be taken

    10. Build an helipad near the venue

  1. Accommodations arrangements

    1. All officials and guests, artists, poets, to be provided accommodation and food appropriately

    2. 500 rooms at 5 star hotels will be needed for the VIP and artists. Poets, Artists will need medium level 800 rooms. 1000 rooms at Cottages at TTD. 40,000 Dormitories will be needed for volunteers, folk artists. And schools, hostels will be used to accommodate about 40,000 people.

    3. Reservations have to be made in star hotels, medium level hotels, TTD cottages, schools, colleges, engineering colleges and hostels.

  1. Transport Facilities

    1. 1000 cars, 500 jeeps, 400 buses, 500 vans would be needed. The tariff needs to be fixed for the same. Some buses from schools and colleges could be requested for free.

  2. Mobilization of Personnel

    1. Services of officials from Chittoor, Nellore and Kadapa district would be needed from Dec. 26 to Dec. 30

    2. Officials and others needed at the venue will be Revenue officers, Mandal development officers, Superintendent of Engineer & Panchayatraj engineer, water works superintendent engineer, TTD chief engineer, regional joint director of education department, transport officials, 1000 volunteers from NSS, 1000 security guards need to be outsourced.

    3. Local NGO’s, cultural and other institutions need to join as volunteers

  3. Guests:

    1. Food arrangements are as per the following

      1. Free Food

      2. Food on payment

      3. Food courts will be set up for the same. The people who will be associated with it will be TTD officials, Chittoor DSO, District Civil Supplies manager, Hotel Associations, State Hotel Associations, and Tourism MD.

  4. Publicity

    1. The Commissioner, Information and Broadcasting ministry will take responsibility of the complete publicity campaign for the conference as per the guidelines of the Cultural department. Accordingly pamphlets, brochures, posters, stickers, banners, plex, print media ads, 5 minutes film ads, 30 seconds TV ads, radio jingles, balloons, hoarding at airports, railway and bus stations, main centers and at other districts main centers.

  5. District Level Cultural Programmes

    1. It has been decided to organize cultural programmes at various districts from Nov. 15 to Dec. 15. Similarly in other states where there are many Telugu people living such as Chennai, Bengaluru, Bellary, Chhattisgarh, Mumbai, Behrampur, Ahmadabad, New Delhi, Kharagpur. These will be organized in association with Potti Sri Ramulu International Telugu Centers.

  6. Cultural Programmes need to be devised

  7. Selection of Poets, Pundits, Artists, Industrialists, Intellectuals and sports personalities who will be felicitated.

  8. Invites to the Chief Guests to be decided.

  9. Special Magazine, Monogram and other books need to be printed.
